In order to prevent invalidating your warranty it is essential to have an annual habitation service carried out by an authorised dealer or a NCC approved workshop. Each manufacturer will have their own policy so please make sure you read the documentation thoroughly.

Your Warranty
Introduction to Your Warranty
Your motorhome warranty provides essential peace of mind, offering comprehensive protection against unexpected repairs and potential issues that may arise after your purchase. When you invest in a new motorhome, it comes with a manufacturer’s warranty, designed to cover defects in materials or workmanship for a specified period. This means that if any covered components experience faults within the warranty period, the necessary repairs or replacements will be taken care of — giving you one less thing to worry about.
If you’ve purchased your motorhome from another dealer or a private sale with a valid manufacturers warranty, it may be feasible for Todds to carry out the warranty repairs under our terms and conditions.
What is covered under warranty?

Your warranty will cover the costs of the work to repair or replace defective components of your motorhome, but each motorhome manufacturer will specify what is included or excluded in their warranty policy. It is important to read the warranty guidelines carefully to understand the terms, limitations, and annual habitation service requirements to keep your warranty valid.
The chassis of your motorhome will have a separate warranty policy provided by the chassis manufacturer, such as Ford or Fiat. This policy is independent of the motorhome manufacturer’s policy, so it’s important to review the terms and conditions specific to your chassis. Understanding what is covered, the duration of the warranty, and any servicing requirements will ensure you are familiar with your protection and can address any issues properly if they arise.

How to make a warranty claim
To make a warranty claim, you need to email Martine with the required details to ensure a smooth process. Your email should include the following information:
– Chassis number
– Make and model of the motorhome
– Registration number
– Current mileage
It is important to attach clear photographs of the problem, showing both the specific fault and its position within the motorhome. Providing detailed and accurate information will help speed up the assessment and approval of your claim.
Once we have the necessary information, we will let you know if a full assessment or fault diagnosis is required before submitting the claim. While we strive to minimise unnecessary trips, they are often essential to ensure accuracy of the fault.
Once your claim is authorised, the time to receive parts and book your motorhome in for repair will depend on the manufacturer and the type of part required. Some parts can be made to order and others may be shipped from overseas, which can extend the waiting period. Please be patient during this process, as delays can occur beyond our control. We will keep you updated on the progress of your claim and any expected timeframes for repairs but feel free to call and discuss at any time during the process.
